Guess what! More knitting!
The top 2 are dyed with Rit dye while the Fisherman's Wool was still in the skein. The bottom hat is Lorna's Laces.

This was knit for a friend's son. His name is Jed and he's much too big to wear this now. I finished knitting it about a week after he was born, but I never actually finished it. Sorry!
This has turned into a knitting blog.
The top one is for the little man. It's store bought acrylic, so I can wash and dry it. Next is Kool-Aid dyed wool for K. The next one is acrylic too for K. The bottom 2 are for the peanut. Second from the bottom is Lion Brand Wool. The very bottom one is Fisherman's Wool dyed with Procion fiber reactive dye.
Happy Birthday to me
Yeah, my birthday is the beginning of November, but Raoul felt bad about me not having a cake. So, a few days ago he baked one and we had a party. It was actually an apple and pecan cobbler. Yum!
Another dye job
I really like these colors. This was dyed with 3 colors of cake dye: brown, teal, and green. I don't know where the navy and purple came from, but I love, love, love them. I've already knit up a pair of socks for K, these are for C. I'm knitting 2 at the same time on one big circular needle. This is my favorite method for socks. I'm not great at finishing sock #2.
Dyeing to knit
These were fun to dye. The 2 big balls are Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool and the 3 little ones are... I can't remember. Some sort of merino. Anyway, the pink and green were dyed with fiber reactive dye designed for cotton. The green is approximately the same color as it is on cotton, but the darker pink was supposed to be chocolate brown. The purple and orange were dyed with fiber reactive dye as well. The green, teal, and purple were originally dyed with Kool-Aid, but I had a few too many white spots, so I overdyed with fiber reactive dye. I used vinegar and the microwave to set the colors.
Pit tails
She looks like such a big girl with her hair up. She actually left these in for several hours, which is a record for her. We usually have about 5 minutes of cute hair before she pulls the rubber bands out.
Dentist
Kitty has been asking to go to the dentist about once a week since she went 6 months ago. In fact, if I tell her to brush her teeth she'll tell me she doesn't need to because Dr. Diane will clean them for her. After this visit, she's not so keen to go back. She had 4 cavities to fill. Coleen had none and Paul had a little tiny one we're going to just try to keep scrupulously clean. After the visit to the dentist, I took her over to the toy store and got her a new baby doll. She was just pitiful crying because it hurt. It breaks my heart when this one is hurting. She looks so sad all the time, so when she really is sad she looks devastated.
Birthday
It was my mom's birthday on the first. I didn't get this in the right place, but I wanted to put it up anyway. This is my family except for Raoul and E.
Attack
My mom seems to love wrestling with the kids. She's one of the few people they do this with. You can tell we were getting ready to head to the pool.
Girls
This is my brother's daughter. She's a twin, so she's 4 months older than P, 1.5 years younger than C. My girls had a lot of fun with her having fashion shows. 
Boys!
P loves getting to see his boy cousins. This is my brother's son who is only 4 months older than P.
