Reality

This is me at 30 weeks with a naked E in the background and K in the tree. I don't feel this big, but evidently I am.

Poor puppy

The kids are torturing him, dressing him up, posing, etc. He seems to enjoy it though.

Oil painting?

I'm not sure how this showed up on my camera, but I thought it was pretty enough to share.

The long road home

This is actually the view of our driveway from the house. It's why I bought this piece of property, so its nice to have this reminder. We had a man come up to the house yesterday who wanted to pour asphalt on it, but I decided against it. I really love the dirt, potholes and all.

Camped out

My aunt and uncle have a huge house, but you'd never know it by this pic. We came home to all the kids camped out in the living room. You can't see Emma, but she's in the chair to the right. The babysitter is on the couch.
In case you're wondering, this picture qualifies as Monday's since it was 1AM when we got in...

Butter

I got to see my brother play in Atlanta on Sunday night. The kids and I drove up to my uncle's (my dad's baby brother), where they stayed and played with my cousins. My uncle, my aunt, and I went from there to eat with Jon, my mom, her sister, and her sister's friend. Then we headed over to hear him play. It was a nice evening.

Watusis

One of the cows in the middle here are the daddy to the calf our Highlander is carrying. They're surrounded by buffalo. Our cows came from a petting zoo/hunting camp. It was kind of odd. I think it started out as a petting zoo, hence our cows being there. Then it evolved into more of an exotic game hunting grounds, hence our cows being sold.

Another niece

This is another of Raoul's nieces. She's upset her mother bundled her up in this hoodie. It wasn't cool, but she was cold!

An evening at the beach

This is Raoul's niece who's getting married soon. She and Emma had a great time going on long walks before her fiance came. After that, Emma was chopped liver so to speak.

Bedtime routine

This is a typical scene at night. Raoul reading a book from my childhood, usually about bears or dogs or horses, while the big kids listen and Emma does her own thing beside them. She'll hop up there every few minutes to listen, but it just to be part of the crowd.

Another dye job

This is the greatest wool. It's Sweetgrass, which is from Targhee sheep. It's so soft and luscious, its unbelievable. I had a lot of fun dyeing it. This is with procion dyes. The colors are really beautiful.

Most important object in our house

We couldn't survive a day without one of these. My Klean Kanteen ones are coming in the mail soon, when we can dump the plastic. Until then, we continue on with these as they're a necessity in Emma's life.
